What to Expect From Your Free Onsite Estimate

Every job we do starts with a free onsite estimate. Here’s how it works, so you know what to expect.

Booking your estimate

Call or text 225-620-7013, book a time online at our Calendly page, or send a request from our contact page with your name, phone number and the project address. If you have photos of the job, text them to us. Photos help us understand the work before we arrive.

What happens at the visit

  • We look at the job in person.
  • We ask how you want the finished space to look and work.
  • We take measurements and point out anything we notice that could affect the job.
  • We answer your questions.

What to have ready

  • A list of everything you want done, even the small stuff.
  • Photos or links that show the look you like.
  • Any questions about timing.
  • Clear access to the area we’re looking at.

After the visit

Questions worth asking at your estimate

  • What’s included in the price, and what isn’t?
  • Will any part of the job need other work first, like repairing rot or moving plumbing?
  • How long do you expect the work to take, and what could change that?
  • How will you protect my floors and furniture while you work?
  • What do I need to do before you start?

Good questions now save surprises later. We’re happy to answer every one.

We go over the price with you. There’s no cost for the estimate, and you can take your time deciding. When you’re ready, we’ll get you on the schedule.
